【摘要】:Therollstabilitytestiswidelyusedinspecifications.Testresultsaresignificantinsofarastheycanshowadirectionalchangeinconsistencythatcouldoccurinservice.Noaccuratecorrelationisestablishedbetweenthetestresultsandshearstabilityinactualservice.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationofthechangesintheconsistency,asmeasuredbyconepenetration,oflubricatinggreaseswhenworkedintherollstabilitytestapparatus.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.2.1Exception8212;Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsfortheapparatusdimensionsaretoberegardedasstandard;theSIconversionsareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
