【摘要】:ThispartofISO1874specifiesthemethodsofpreparationoftestspecimensandthetestmethodstobeusedindeterminingthepropertiesofpolyamidemouldingandextrusionmaterials.Requirementsforhandlingtestmaterialandforconditioningboththetestmaterialbeforemouldingandthespecimensbeforetestingaregiven.Proceduresandconditionsforthepreparationoftestspecimensandproceduresformeasuringpropertiesofthematerialsfromwhichthesespecimensaremadearegiven.Propertiesandtestmethodsthataresuitableandnecessarytocharacterizepolyamidemouldingandextrusionmaterialsarelisted.ThepropertieshavebeenselectedfromthegeneraltestmethodsinISO10350-1.Othertestmethodsinwideusefor,orofparticularsignificanceto,thesemouldingandextrusionmaterialsarealsoincludedinthispartofISO1874,asarethedesignatoryproperties(viscositynumberandtensilemodulusofelasticity)foundinISO1874-1.

【摘要】:UnitedStatesgovernmentalregulationsmandatethatelectricalapparatusandelectricalinsulatingfluidscontainingPCBbehandledanddisposedofthroughspecificprocedures.TheproceduretobeusedforaparticularapparatusorquantityofinsulatingfluidisdeterminedbythePCBcontentofthefluid.Theresultsofthisanalyticaltechniquecanbeusefulinselectingtheappropriatehandlinganddisposalprocedure.Quantificationinthistechniquerequiresapeak-by-peakcomparisonofthechromatogramofanunknownspecimenwiththatofstandardAroclortestspecimensobtainedunderidenticalconditions.TheamountofPCBproducingeachpeakinthestandardchromatogramshallbeknownindependently.ThetechniquedescribedisbasedondataforstandardchromatogramsofAroclors1242,1254,and1260obtainedusingspecificchromatographiccolumnpackingmaterialsandoperatingconditions.RelevantchromatogramsarereproducedinFig.1,Fig.2,andFig.3,forisothermalpackedcolumnsandinFigs.X4.1throughX4.3)fortemperatureprogrammedmega-borecapillarycolumns.Eachpeakisidentifiedbyitsretentiontimerelativetothatofastandard.ThetypesandamountsofPCBassociatedwitheachpeakhavebeendeterminedbymassspectroscopyandaregiveninTable1,Table2,andTable3.Otherchromatographicoperatingconditions,andinparticular,othercolumnpackingmaterials,maygivedifferentseparations.Thedatagiveninthetablesshouldnotbeusedifchromatogramsofthestandardsdiffersignificantlyfromthoseshowninthefigures.Thepeaksinsuchstandardchromatogramsshallbeindependentlyidentifiedandquantified.DifferentisomersofPCBwiththesamenumberofchlorinesubstituentscancausesubstantiallydifferentresponsesfromECdetectors.MixturesofPCBcontainingthesameamountofPCB,butwithadifferentratioofisomers,cangivequitedifferentchromatograms.ThistechniqueiseffectiveonlywhenthestandardPCBmixturesandthosefoundintheunknowntestspecimenarecloselyrelated.Aroclors1242,1254,and1260areadequatestandardsbecausetheyhavebeenfoundtobethemostcommonPCBcontaminantinelectricalinsulatingoils.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaquantitativedeterminationoftheconcentrationofpolychlorinatedbiphenyls(PCBs)inelectricalinsulatingliquidsbygaschromatography.ItalsoappliestothedeterminationofPCBpresentinmixturesknownasaskarels,usedaselectricalinsulatingliquids.1.2ThePCBmixturesknownasAroclorswereusedintheformulationofthePCB-containingaskarelsmanufacturedintheUnitedStates.ThistestmethodmaybeappliedtothedeterminationofPCBsininsulatingliquidscontaminatedbyeitherindividualAroclorsormixturesofAroclors.ThistechniquemaynotbeapplicabletothedeterminationofPCBsfromothersourcesofcontamination.1.3TheprecisionandbiasofthistestmethodhavebeenestablishedonlyforPCBconcentrationsinelectricalinsulatingmineraloilsandsilicones.Theuseofthistestmethodhasnotbeendemonstratedforallinsulatingfluids.Someinsulatingliquids,suchashalogenatedhydrocarbons,interferewiththedetectionofPCBsandcannotbetestedwithoutpretreatment.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
