【摘要】:LaboratoriesperformingpetroleumtestmethodscanusethispracticetosetanacceptabletolerancezoneforinfrequenttestingofCSorCCSmaterial,basedonx03B5;,andadesiredTypeIerror,forthepurposeofascertainingifthetestmethodisbeingperformedwithoutbias.Thispracticecanbeusedtoestimatethepowerofcorrectlydetectingbiasofdifferentmagnitudes,usingtheacceptabletolerancezonesetin4.1,andhence,gaininsightintothelimitationofthetruebiasdetectioncapabilityassociatedwiththisacceptabletolerancezone.Withthisinsight,trade-offscanbemadebetweendesiredTypeIerrorversusdesiredbiasdetectioncapabilitytosuitspecificbusinessneeds.TheCStestingactivitiesdescribedinthispracticeareintendedtoaugmentandnotreplacetheregularstatisticalmonitoringoftestmethodperformanceasdescribedinPracticeD6299.1.1ThispracticecoversamethodologyforestablishinganacceptabletolerancezoneforthedifferencebetweentheresultobtainedfromasingleimplementationofatestmethodonaCSanditsARV,basedonuser-specifiedTypeIerror,theuser-establishedtestmethodprecision,thestandarderroroftheARV,andapresumedhypothesisthatthelaboratoryisperformingthetestmethodwithoutbias.Note1Throughoutthispractice,thetermuserreferstotheuserofthispractice;andthetermlaboratory(see)referstotheorganizationorentitythatisperformingthetestmethod.1.2Forthetolerancezoneestablishedin,amethodologyispresentedtoestimatetheprobabilitythatthesingletestresultwillfalloutsidethezone,intheeventthatthereisabias(positiveornegative)ofauser-specifiedmagnitudethatisdeemedtobeofpracticalconcern(thatis,thepresumedhypothesisisnottrue).1.3ThispracticeisintendedforASTMCommitteeD02testmethodsthatproduceresultsonacontinuousnumericalscale.1.4Thispracticeassumesthatthenormal(Gaussian)modelisadequateforthedescriptionandpredictionofmeasurementsystembehaviorwhenitisinastateofstatisticalcontrol.Note2WhilethispracticedoesnotcoverscenariosinwhichmultipleresultsareobtainedonthesameCSundersiteprecisionorrepeatabilityconditions,thestatisticalconceptspresentedareapplicable.UserswishingtoapplytheseconceptsforthescenariosdescribedareadvisedtoconsultastatisticianandtoreferencetheCSmethodologydescribedinPracticeD6299.1.5SoftwareprogramSiteBias,Version1.0.1(ADJD6617)performsthenecessarycalculationsprescribedbythispractice.
