【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheheat-transferrateortheheatfluxtothesurfaceofasolidbody(testsample)usingthemeasuredtransienttemperatureriseofathermocouplelocatedatthenullpointofacalorimeterthatisinstalledinthebodyandisconfiguredtosimulateasemi-infinitesolid.Bydefinitionthenullpointisauniquepositionontheaxialcenterlineofadisturbedbodywhichexperiencesthesametransienttemperaturehistoryasthatonthesurfaceofasolidbodyintheabsenceofthephysicaldisturbance(hole)forthesameheat-fluxinput.1.2Null-pointcalorimetershavebeenusedtomeasurehighconvectiveorradiantheat-transferratestobodiesimmersedinbothflowingandstaticenvironmentsofair,nitrogen,carbondioxide,helium,hydrogen,andmixturesoftheseandothergases.Flowvelocitieshaverangedfromzero(static)throughsubsonictohypersonic,totalflowenthalpiesfrom1.16togreaterthan4.65x101MJ/kg(5x102togreaterthan2x104Btu/lb.),andbodypressuresfrom105togreaterthan1.5x107Pa(atmospherictogreaterthan1.5x102atm).Measuredheat-transferrateshaverangedfrom5.68to2.84x102MW/m2(5x102to2.5104Btu/ft2-sec).1.3Themostcommonuseofnull-pointcalorimetersistomeasureheat-transferratesatthestagnationpointofasolidbodythatisimmersedinahighpressure,highenthalpyflowinggasstream,withthebodyaxisusuallyorientedparalleltotheflowaxis(zeroangle-of-attack).Useofnull-pointcalorimetersatoff-stagnationpointlocationsandforangle-of-attacktestingmayposespecialproblemsofcalorimeterdesignanddatainterpretation.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
